The sales operations team provides sales leaders and reps with the processes, infrastructure, data, tools and support to drive growth and success. Partnering with the sales team and broader operations team, the Sales Operations Analyst/Specialist will develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions and activities for optimizing the sales process and sales cycle. Success is measured by the overall business impact.
Your role
- Build a trusted relationship with sales leadership and sales reps
- Work with sales leadership to create, execute and optimize a sales operations program for buyer and seller sales that accelerates sales growth by improving processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, sales enablement, marketing, product, operations, legal, finance and analytics
- Deal with a wide range of challenges, processes and data types
- Evaluate, execute, support, and improve processes that positively impact the day-to-day work of the sales and account management teams
- Analysing and reporting on data for the sales team
- Be a thought partner to sales teams and their managers
- Enforce that sales reps follow rules, guidelines and best practices
- Respond to and resolve ad hoc requests and cases from the sales teams for sales-related topics
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in business, economics or a related field
- 3+ years experience in sales or sales operations
- Experience in B2B SaaS companies, B2B Marketplaces and B2B e-commerce is a plus
- A good understanding of sales technologies, processes and best practices
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills (out-of-the-box thinking)
- A strong stakeholder orientation and proactive work ethic
- Affinity in data modeling, data mining, and data quality management
- Well-versed in CRMs, business intelligence platforms (e.g. Tableau), and Excel
- Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
- Fast learner
